Trautenfels Castle

Due to its exposed location at the foot of the Grimming, the castle can be seen from afar. A permanent exhibition is dedicated to life in the Ennstal valley, and exciting themes are professionally presented in changing exhibitions. Admission is free with the Schladming Dachstein Sommercard.

Extra tip: Pürgg, the crib of Styria, with its beautiful village character and unique view, is also in the immediate vicinity. A visit to the Johanneskapelle with its valuable frescoes is also highly recommended. (distance: approx. 40 km)
